Software developed for PRO/PROX devices support real-time ASR data correction. It can correct artifacts such as eye-blinks, movement, muscle etc.
For more detail on the algorithm itself, check the reference work linked below:

Also, watch our video on how to enable ASR in our Windows software:
ASR is also available on our Android app, so if you want to see more details go to our website and register for the app guide - https://mbraintrain.com/download/
NOTE: It's only available for customers with an Outdoor license.
ASR corrected data is streamed through the Lab Streaming Layer (LSL) protocol which means that the data can be further processed online in a third-party software.* In this case, the algorithm introduces a delay in the ASR data, compared to the raw EEG data. Specifically, if data is streamed on 250Hz the delay is 1.092 seconds, and on 500Hz it's 0.958 seconds.
ASR data can also be recorded in XDF file format with other LSL streams, which means it’s possible to record both raw EEG and ASR corrected data in the same file. The delay is non-existent in this case.
*The third-party software needs to support LSL protocol to import ASR/EEG data.
