Aside from customizing EEG electrode positions, you can also configure electrodes to record other ExG data (EOG, EMG, ECG etc.). In this article, we describe how you can load a custom layout file in the software to reflect the cap configuration.

If you don't use one of our standard cap/Smartfones layouts, you can load a custom one we prepare beforehand.
Custom layouts should be located on a memory stick you received in the amplifier box. The cap layout has a .txt or .sfp format.
In mbtStreamer Windows software, you can go to Settings and find the Layouts drop-down list. There, select the "+" sign to load a new layout. Navigate to the custom layout file. And voila - that's that.
