# Can I include Android mobile phone motion activity in my EEG recording?

## Our PRO line devices have IMU sensors that allow motion tracking of the participant. But if you're using our Android SmartingProApp, you can also track motion activity from the mobile phone.

Go to *Settings* in the app, and find the *Phone sensors* section:

 Once you enable a sensor, the app will open a separate LabStreamingLayer (LSL) stream, which can then be synched with other LSL streams (like EEG). In case you're not familiar with LSL, you can read [our blog](https://mbraintrain.com/lsl-with-mbtstreamer-practical-examples/)explaining it in simple examples.

If you're interested in the *Activity Recognition* feature, you can read more about it [here (linked)](https://developers.google.com/location-context/activity-recognition). This trigger stream consists of markers which mark your current activity, based on mobile phone movement. These triggers include activity such as walking, in vehicle, running etc.
