I'm having frequent data loss with the Smarting Device

If you're using a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle to connect the Smarting, see the steps below.

  • Go to your laptop's Device Manager and check if there's any warning signs next to any Bluetooth drivers. You can see an example below:

First, go to your Bluetooth settings and remove the Smarting device. It should disappear from the listed devices completely.

  • Next, let's disable your internal drivers, so that the dongle can work properly. Here, plug out the dongle and right-click on the main driver on your PC. Select DISABLE and all the drivers will retract.

    Plug the dongle back in and the Device Manager should look something like this:
