# My pre-defined configuration in mbtStreamer is not being saved

If you are missing a configuration file that you've saved in your previous session, please make sure to run mbtStreamer as an Admin. This needs to be done as mbtStreamer saves the config files on C disk - for which some PCs need Admin rights.

Once you run it as Admin, try saving the config file one more time. The next time you run the software, it will load the config file.
