This error can pop up when you're trying to connect the device, or when the device is connected and you're trying to stream the signals. Here are some possible reasons for this:
- The amplifier is empty and needs to be charged.
- You're connecting to a wrong COM port (our app will start running no matter which COM port you select). In order to overcome this issue, make sure to first connect the Smarting device and check which COM port it's using.
See this article if you're using a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle: How to connect Smarting using a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle
Or this one if you're using BlueSoleil: How to properly set up BlueSoleil - If you're using BlueSoleil and this error pops up when you try to stream, you need to disconnect the device from BlueSoleil software. Not unpair/delete the device entirely, just disconnect the COM port from BlueSoleil.
Even if you don't do this, the streaming will still work properly. But if the error is bothering you, just make sure the device is disconnected from BlueSoleil.
